Go Noodle is an interactive website that allows educators and program leaders an opportunity to engage children and youth in various movement activities. As the site explains, Go Noodle provides short activities that can be used to energize youth. These short energizers are ideal to use within a classroom setting where there is access to a data projector. The classroom or group works together to earn points each time they are engaged in movement. Sign up and add this to your repertoire of tools to engage children and youth in movement throughout the day.
It is interesting to note, Go Noodle refers to the activities as “Brain Breaks”. This term may insinuate that the brain is not engaged with movement. We would suggest that the brain is certainly not on a break when moving, but rather working in a different way!
