Saskatchewan’s physical education curriculum has for years looked to embed leadership development within it. When one considers the Broad Areas of Learning (Sense of Self, Community and Place, Lifelong Learners, Engaged Citizens) it is understood why enhancing leadership within our students is essential. Physical education and sport are tremendous avenues to implore the innate leadership skills that all youth possess. GYM has embarked upon a new partnership with Regina Public Schools which looks to explore a unique approach to school completion and work experience. High school students from Scott Collegiate have the opportunity to enroll in the Youth Leadership Pathway.
